About the Project
The Beeline Solar Energy Center is a proposed 250-megawatt (MW) solar generation facility in Burt County, Nebraska, targeted to begin operating in 2028. This project would use the power of the sun to deliver cleaner, more reliable, affordable energy to over 54,000 homes throughout Nebraska.
Throughout the life of the project, the Beeline Solar Energy Center is projected to pay more than $160 million in property taxes, lease payments to landowners, and salaries to employees, resulting in a significant increase in economic activity for City of Tekamah, Burt County, and surrounding communities. Local schools and county infrastructure will also benefit from the increase in tax revenue.
Invenergy began development of the Beeline Solar Energy Center in 2019. This project is an opportunity to boost the local economy and create jobs, all while helping meet Nebraska's growing electricity demand.

At peak construction, Dawn Harvest Solar is expected to employ as many as 150 people. After construction, the project will employ up to 3 additional permanent operations and maintenance (O&M) staff.
